Arrows Kid pitch league

MISSION: To provide professional instruction and an organized league for 7U & 8U players to safely learn the fundamentals of baseball (pitching, fielding, throwing, hitting and base running). 

LEAGUE DETAILS: Arrows offers competitive baseball training with experienced Christian leadership.  At Arrows we teach baseball; from the fundamental techniques that require proper form and repetition, to the mental toughness required to succeed at baseball and life.

• Age is primarily determined by a player's age on the next May 1st.
• Practice 2 nights per week.  Play on the weekend.
• Games and practices are 90 minutes.
• Games are 6-Innings, 3-outs per inning, 5-runs per inning
• Practice and games at Greenland Park  *  11808 Fayal Dr.  *  Jacksonville, FL 32258
• Pitching distance is 42 feet
• Base paths are 60 feet 
• Modified “Open Base” with no straight stealing

LEAGUE PROVIDES:

• Team Jersey
• Team Baseball Hat
• Catcher’s Gear

PLAYERS NEED:

• Personal Baseball Glove
• Gray Baseball Pants
• Batting Helmet
• "USA BASEBALL" approved bat
• Protective cup (required for catching, recommended otherwise)
• Baseball Cleats (rubber cleats only, metal cleats are not allowed)
